Coming to Cotonou for treatment, or accompanying someone receiving it, is not a trip: it is a stretch of time that needs quiet, a kitchen to adapt meals, and not being forty minutes from the clinic in traffic. We place these stays near the clinics of Patte d'Oie and Cadjèhoun, favouring single-level homes and districts that are silent at night. For treatment at the CHIC, the Centre Hospitalier International de Calavi, we house you in Cotonou and organise the drive: the hospital is about ten kilometres out, twenty to forty-five minutes depending on the hour. The concierge arranges transport to appointments and stays reachable around the clock. We give no medical advice and recommend no practitioner: that is not our trade.

- No. We house and we drive; the medical choice belongs to you and your doctor. What we will tell you is exactly what is how far from each home.
- Can we extend if the treatment runs on?
- Yes, and without moving house when it is free. Past two weeks the rate automatically moves to the fortnightly then the monthly grid, which is better value.
