From Bamako · Mali
Bamako to Cotonou.
The same CFA franc, no visa, and the coast a few hours away by air: Cotonou welcomes travellers from Bamako for business, study and family celebrations.

The journey
No regular nonstop flight at the moment: most people connect through Abidjan or Lomé, and Corsair has scheduled a Bamako to Cotonou flight in early January 2027. By road, the route crosses areas foreign ministries formally advise against: fly. Cadjèhoun is fifteen minutes from our homes.
The visa
African passports: no visa for Benin, for up to 90 days. Other nationalities apply for the electronic visa.
The money
The same CFA franc (XOF) as Mali: no exchange needed, the prices you read are the prices you pay. We accept Mobile Money, card and bank transfer.
Hotel or furnished home?
For a stay of several days or weeks, with family or for work, a furnished home costs less than a hotel and lives better, with a concierge on the ground.
