- What is a concierge service in Cotonou?
- For a traveller, it is one contact who organises the whole stay: the airport welcome, the home or the hotel, the driver, tables, nights out and day trips. For an owner, it is the full management of a home that is let out: listings and pricing, welcoming guests, cleaning, linen, maintenance, then the accounts. In Cotonou, it also means managing the water supply, the generator and the guards.
- Can you meet me at Cotonou airport?
- Yes. Give us your flight number: someone waits for you outside Cardinal Bernardin Gantin airport, day or night, and drives you to your home or hotel. The driver can then stay with you by the day.
- How much do your services cost?
- Our furnished homes start at 35,000 FCFA a night, electricity included, with fortnight and monthly rates. For the rest of the stay, every request gets a written quote: the price of each service and our concierge fee, stated beforehand. Then you decide.
- Do you organise trips elsewhere in Benin?
- Yes. From Cotonou we organise days out to Ouidah, Ganvié, Porto-Novo, Abomey or Grand-Popo, with a driver, and stays around the Vodun Days. We also book the hotel when you travel further, in Benin or abroad.
- What does a concierge cost an owner in Benin?
- The fee is a percentage of the rent collected, agreed with the owner before the management agreement. Léna Escapes charges no hidden fees on routine services; any expenses incurred for the property are recharged at exact cost, with receipts in the owner's online area.
- Do you also manage long-term lets?
- Yes. Some properties earn more as short-stay furnished lets, others on a long-term lease. Léna Escapes estimates both before making a recommendation, and says so when a long-term let is the better option.
- How do I know what is happening at my property?
- Every owner has an online area: a calendar of stays, a log of expenses and income, documents and invoices, open requests. Nothing is verbal, everything is dated.
