The journey
There is no longer a nonstop flight between Douala and Cotonou: most people go through Libreville, where Camair-Co stops in some seasons without a change of plane, or through Abidjan. Give us your flight: we track the arrival and meet you at Cadjèhoun, fifteen minutes from our homes.
The visa
African passports: no visa for Benin, for up to 90 days. Other nationalities apply for the electronic visa.
The money
The Central African CFA franc (XAF) is worth exactly the same as Benin's CFA franc (XOF), but its notes are not accepted in West Africa: change them before you leave or on arrival. We accept card, bank transfer and Mobile Money, and our rates are published in FCFA.

- Do Cameroonian citizens need a visa for Benin?
- No. Benin waives the visa for citizens of every African country, Cameroon included, for stays of up to 90 days. A yellow-fever vaccination certificate is checked on arrival.
- Is there a direct flight from Douala to Cotonou?
- Not nonstop at the moment. Flights go through Libreville or Abidjan, and the journey takes from three hours to half a day depending on the connection.
