From Cotonou
No nonstop flight. The best option: Air France via Paris-Charles de Gaulle, which serves Salvador three times a week, rising to five from December 2026 to February 2027.
Good to know
Beninese passport: a visit visa is required for Brazil, applied for at the Brazilian Embassy in Cotonou; for the Paris-CDG connection, no airport transit visa is needed as long as you stay airside. Currency: Brazilian real (BRL), not pegged to the CFA franc.
